ABSTRACT

The present study aims at the improvement of the percentage of rooting at grafting, in spaces protected at tree and dendrologic plants, ensuring special technical conditions. In this sense, a complex, automated installation was set up, in order to ensure the microclimates necessary for increasing grafting yields. The installation is based on Hot callusing method and consists in reaching the optimal temperature at grafting point, depending on the pretences of grafted species.

Nut, hazelnut, magnolia and beech grafting in protected areas, by using methods of split and perfection copulation, followed by stimulation of callusing with the help of heat, only at the grafting point in an automated complex installation, has registered percentages of rooting of 89,5 respectively 86,0 at nut, 95,7 respectively 86,8 at hazelnut, 93,0 respectively 91,0 at magnolia and 72,5 respectively 68,9 la beech.
